About Aprons
What materials are your aprons made of?
Fabric:
All aprons are 100% handmade using exclusively developed fabrics and fabric offcuts.
Hardware:
Aprons feature brass hardware and fasteners coated with Zamak—a hypoallergenic material that is environmentally friendly, rust-resistant, and offers exceptional durability and strength, giving the metal a bold look and a longer lifespan than any other zinc.
Shoulder Straps:
These cotton webbing straps are made from over 90% cotton.
How are your aprons made?
The main body of our aprons consists of two parts, joined by a seam at the waist. This seam avoids the "balloon effect" that occurs at the waist on most other aprons on the market.
The split leg opening allows for freedom of movement without the feeling of wearing a corset or evening gown, even if the apron is too high for you. All aprons come with adjustable straps so you can customize it to your height.
Are all aprons one size fits all?
Yes. Our aprons are approximately 26 inches wide and 36 inches tall, with the top section approximately 14 inches tall and the bottom section 20 inches tall.
Aprons made from unbleached fabric shrink more than typical industrial wash fabric, so you can estimate your apron will stabilize around 33 inches after the first wash.
Split Leg Opening:
The apron is approximately 36 inches tall, so the split leg section starts at approximately 28 inches.
Tip: If the hem of the apron is still too long after adjusting the shoulder straps, you can sew the hem together for a better fit.
